Ice climbing on the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe

A "rock-hard" experience

24.12.2024 - 18.02.2025 | tu | 10:00 - 12:30 o’clock

Madlenerhaus at 1,986 m | Silvretta/Bielerhöhe | 6793 Gaschurn

In the new ice climbing park on the Silvretta-Bielerhöhe, you’ll have an unforgettable adventure together with your Montafon mountain guide. At the taster day on the artificial ice wall, you will not only learn how to properly use an ice axe and crampons but also be able to dare your first attempt at climbing the ice. Naturally, your individual level of ability will be taken into account. The necessary equipment will be made available to you on site. You can look forward to a, quite literally, “cool” adventure in the midst of the impressive Silvretta mountains.

Proper footwear is essential (crampon resistant shoes with at least one notch on the heel to accommodate the rocker of the crampons, optimal would also be a receptacle in the front)!

Light touring ski boots are also suitable.

Without the right shoes it is not possible to participate in the ice climbing, who does not have their own crampon resistant shoes, these can be rented independently, before going up by mountain train, at Sport Stöckl Partenen - www.sportstoeckl.at
